![]() In my opinion, the difficulty in a game should feel genuine. Now, before you start typing "ooh, you're just bad at FPS games, get good" or "you're just a casual, play games more" I'll tell you that I've been playing FPS games for my whole life and that screaming at your computer from frustration while playing is not fun for most people. ![]() After dying many times I just ragequit and never came back. ![]() Ok, fine, each of these only takes one rocket to kill, but when you do, a big red one spawns in and absolutely destroys you. I stopped playing when I found that secret in the suburbs where you get closed in, then 4 blue mechanoids spawn in on top of you and shower you with rockets. Enemies like reptiloids and arachnoids would often spawn in out of reach places and start shooting me while I couldn't even see them. When I got to that huge fight while approaching Memphis everything felt fine, until I entered the suburbs.Īt that point the game started feeling bullsh*t. It felt like Croteam wanted to make the game difficult by adding more and more traps with monster closets. I've already beaten it two times before on easy difficulty and this time I decided to go for normal.Īt first the difficulty felt fine, however, it started feeling more and more unbalanced. Recently I've decided to replay Serious Sam HD TFE for the second time.
